Comparison review
Xperia XZ2 Compact is a bit better than OnePlus Open 2 (Rumored), with a score of 79 against 72.8. Both of these phones use Android OS (Operating System), but Xperia XZ2 Compact has newer 8.0 Oreo version while OnePlus Open 2 (Rumored) has Android 15, so it gives you some nice extra features and increased performance.
The Xperia XZ2 Compact counts with a better display than OnePlus Open 2 (Rumored), because although it has a lot worse 1080 x 2160 pixels resolution and a much smaller display, it also counts with a just a little higher pixel number per display inch. Xperia XZ2 Compact has a much faster processor than OnePlus Open 2 (Rumored), although it has a smaller amount of RAM, they both have a Octa-Core processing unit.
OnePlus Open 2 (Rumored) counts with a way bigger storage to store more games and applications than Xperia XZ2 Compact, because although it has no external memory slot, it also counts with 448 GB more internal storage. OnePlus Open 2 (Rumored) counts with a superior battery lifetime than Sony Xperia XZ2 Compact, because it has a 99 percent more battery size.
The OnePlus Open 2 (Rumored) counts with a much better camera than Xperia XZ2 Compact, and although they both have the same 3840x2160 video definition and the same video frame rate, the OnePlus Open 2 (Rumored) also has a way higher 48 mega-pixels resolution camera in the back, a bigger camera aperture to capture better captures and videos in low-light environments and a bigger back camera sensor providing a higher image quality.
