Xiaomi Mi 9 SE is much better than OnePlus Open 2 (Rumored), having an 81.4 score against 72.8. Both devices we compare here use Android OS, but the Xiaomi Mi 9 SE has the newer 9.0 Pie version while OnePlus Open 2 (Rumored) has Android 15 version, so it gives a couple nice extra features and performance tweaks.
Xiaomi Mi 9 SE has a much greater hardware performance than OnePlus Open 2 (Rumored), although it has 10 GB less RAM, they both have 8 processing cores. The Xiaomi Mi 9 SE has a brighter display than OnePlus Open 2 (Rumored), because although it has a much smaller screen and a lot lower 1080 x 2340 resolution, it also counts with a just a bit higher number of pixels per inch of display.
OnePlus Open 2 (Rumored) features a much bigger memory capacity to install games and applications than Xiaomi Mi 9 SE, because it has 384 GB more internal memory capacity. OnePlus Open 2 (Rumored) shoots slightly better videos and photos than Xiaomi Mi 9 SE, and although they both have the same (4K) video resolution, the same resolution back facing camera and a same size back camera sensor, the OnePlus Open 2 (Rumored) also has better 60 fps video frame rates and a larger camera aperture to take better low light captures and videos.
The OnePlus Open 2 (Rumored) counts with a really longer battery duration than Xiaomi Mi 9 SE, because it has 5700mAh of battery capacity.
