Comparison review
Xiaomi Redmi Y1 has an overall score of 72.1, which is just a bit better than OPPO A72's global score of 65.7. Xiaomi Redmi Y1's construction is thinner and much lighter than OPPO A72, despite of the fact that it was released many years before. These phones use Android OS, but Xiaomi Redmi Y1 has 7.0 Nougat version and OPPO A72 has Android 10, offering some nice extra features and some performance improvements.
The OPPO A72 has a little bit better processing power than Xiaomi Redmi Y1, although it has 2 less processing cores , they both have 4 GB of RAM. OPPO A72 has a more vivid display than Xiaomi Redmi Y1, because it has a larger display, a lot better resolution of 1080 x 2400px and a much better number of pixels per inch of screen.
OPPO A72 features a little bit better storage capacity for apps and games than Xiaomi Redmi Y1, because although it has no slot for SD memory cards, it also counts with 128 GB internal storage capacity. OPPO A72 has a really longer battery duration than Xiaomi Redmi Y1, because it has a 5000mAh battery size.
OPPO A72 shoots much clearer photos and videos than Xiaomi Redmi Y1, because it has a much better video resolution, a way more megapixels back facing camera and a way larger camera aperture.
Even being the best phone of the ones in this comparison, the Xiaomi Redmi Y1 is also a bargain compared to the other ones.
