The Galaxy S6 Edge is much better than the OPPO R7, with an 85.7 score against 58.9. The Galaxy S6 Edge construction is somewhat thicker but somewhat lighter than OPPO R7, and both were only released with a couple of months difference. Both phones we compare here work with Android OS (operating system), but Galaxy S6 Edge has 5.0 version and OPPO R7 has Android 4.4 version, so it counts with a lot of extra features.
Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge has a much faster processor than OPPO R7, and although they both have a 3 GB RAM, the Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge also has a 64-bits CPU, an additional GPU and a higher number of cores. Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge features a sharper screen than OPPO R7, because it has a better 2560 x 1440 pixels resolution, a better pixel density and a little bigger display.
OPPO R7 has just a bit better camera than Galaxy S6 Edge, although it has a camera in the back with lesser mega-pixels, a way lower 1920x1080 video quality and a tinier aperture which is not nice for low-light photos. Galaxy S6 Edge has much more storage capacity to store more games and applications than OPPO R7, because although it has no slot for SD memory cards, it also counts with 112 GB more internal memory.
