The Xperia L1 has an overall score of 64.4, which is a bit better than the OPPO R7's general score of 58.9. Both of these devices include Android operating system, but the Xperia L1 has a newer 7.0 Nougat version and OPPO R7 has Android 4.4, giving a couple additional features and a performance increase. Xperia L1's design is newer, but somewhat heavier and notably thicker than the OPPO R7.
The Xperia L1 features just a bit better hardware performance than OPPO R7, because although it has a smaller amount of RAM, it also counts with a greater number of cores (although they are slower). OPPO R7 counts with an incredibly better looking display than Xperia L1, because although it has a little bit smaller display, it also counts with a much better resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels and a lot greater quantity of pixels per inch in the screen.
The OPPO R7 shoots better videos and photos than Xperia L1. Both have the same resolution back facing camera and a same size camera aperture. Sony Xperia L1 has a much bigger storage for games and applications than OPPO R7. Both have equal internal memory. The Sony Xperia L1 counts with a bit longer battery life than OPPO R7, because it has a 13 percent more battery capacity.
Despite of being the best phone between the ones we are comparing here, Sony Xperia L1 is also very cheap compared to the other ones, making this phone a great choice.
