Comparison review
The Asus ROG Phone 8 is just a bit better than OPPO Reno2, having a general score of 79.5 against 73.9. Both phones we compare here come with Android operating system, but the Asus ROG Phone 8 has the newer 14 version and OPPO Reno2 has Android 10, so it provides the user some extra features and performance enhancements. Although Asus ROG Phone 8 is heavier than OPPO Reno2, it's a little bit thinner and also much newer.
The Asus ROG Phone 8 has a much better looking screen than OPPO Reno2, because although it has a quite lower number of pixels per inch of screen, and they both have exactly the same resolution of 1080 x 2400px, the Asus ROG Phone 8 also counts with a quite bigger screen. The OPPO Reno2 has a much better performing processor than Asus ROG Phone 8, although it has less RAM, they both have the same number of cores.
OPPO Reno2 counts with a much bigger memory to install applications and games than Asus ROG Phone 8, and although they both have the same 256 GB internal memory, the OPPO Reno2 also has an external memory slot that admits a maximum of 512 GB. Asus ROG Phone 8 shoots clearer photos and videos than OPPO Reno2, because although it has a smaller aperture which is not recommended for shooting pictures and videos in poorly lited situations, it also counts with a higher resolution back facing camera, a way larger back-facing camera sensor providing a way better image quality and a way better 7680x4320 video definition.
Asus ROG Phone 8 counts with a way better battery lifetime than OPPO Reno2, because it has a 5500mAh battery size against 4000mAh.
