The Asus ZenFone 8 has an overall score of 83, which is better than the OPPO Reno2's overall score of 73.9. The Asus ZenFone 8 construction is newer, somewhat lighter and a little bit thinner than the OPPO Reno2. Both devices in this review have Android operating system, but the Asus ZenFone 8 has a newer 11 version while OPPO Reno2 has Android 10 version.
The Asus ZenFone 8 has a bit superior processor than OPPO Reno2, although it has a smaller amount of RAM memory, they both have the same number of cores. Asus ZenFone 8 counts with a sharper screen than OPPO Reno2, because although it has a bit smaller display, and they both have exactly the same resolution of 1080 x 2400 pixels, the Asus ZenFone 8 also counts with a just a bit greater pixel number per inch in the screen.
The Asus ZenFone 8 takes a bit better pictures and videos than OPPO Reno2, because although it has a smaller diafragm aperture, it also counts with a much better 7680x4320 video resolution, a bigger camera sensor shooting better quality videos and pictures and a camera in the back with a way higher resolution.
OPPO Reno2 has a much better memory capacity for apps and games than Asus ZenFone 8, because it has a SD card slot that allows up to 512 GB and 256 GB internal memory. Asus ZenFone 8's battery performance is very similar to the battery performance in OPPO Reno2.
