Comparison review
Asus ZenFone Max Pro (M2) has a general score of 77.4, which is a bit better than OPPO Reno2's 73.9 overall score. Both devices we are comparing come with Android operating system, but the Asus ZenFone Max Pro (M2) has the newer 9.0 Pie version while OPPO Reno2 has Android 10. Although Asus ZenFone Max Pro (M2) is older than the OPPO Reno2, it's design is somewhat thinner and just a little lighter.
Asus ZenFone Max Pro (M2) counts with a bit better display than OPPO Reno2, although it has a little bit smaller display, a bit less pixels per inch in the display and a little worse resolution of 1080 x 2280. The Asus ZenFone Max Pro (M2)'s processing unit is very similar to the OPPO Reno2 one, and although the Asus ZenFone Max Pro (M2) has lesser RAM, they both have a Octa-Core CPU.
OPPO Reno2 shoots a lot better pictures and videos than Asus ZenFone Max Pro (M2), and although they both have the same video frame rates and the same (4K) video definition, the OPPO Reno2 also has a much better resolution back camera, a bigger diafragm aperture to take better photography and videos in low-light environments and a lot bigger camera sensor taking more light and vivid colors.
The OPPO Reno2 has a slightly better memory for applications, games, photos and videos than Asus ZenFone Max Pro (M2), because although it has an external memory slot that holds a maximum of 512 GB against 1,95 TB, it also counts with 256 GB internal memory. Asus ZenFone Max Pro (M2) counts with superior battery life than OPPO Reno2, because it has 5000mAh of battery capacity instead of 4000mAh.
