Comparison review
The Google Pixel 3a XL is just a bit better than the OPPO Reno2, getting a 78.9 score against 73.9. Even when Google Pixel 3a XL and OPPO Reno2 were released with only a couple of months difference, Google Pixel 3a XL is somewhat thinner and somewhat lighter. These phones work with Android OS (Operating System), but the Google Pixel 3a XL has a more recent 11 version while OPPO Reno2 has Android 10 version, so it counts with a couple additional features and better performance.
The OPPO Reno2 has a bit sharper display than Google Pixel 3a XL, because it has a just a little more pixels per inch of display, a slightly better 1080 x 2400 resolution and a little bit larger screen. The OPPO Reno2 counts with just a bit better processing power than Google Pixel 3a XL, and although they both have a Octa-Core CPU, the OPPO Reno2 also has a higher amount of RAM.
OPPO Reno2 has a lot bigger storage for games and applications than Google Pixel 3a XL, because it has a SD memory card expansion slot that admits a maximum of 512 GB and 256 GB internal memory. OPPO Reno2 features a superior camera than Google Pixel 3a XL, and although they both have the same video quality and the same 30 frames per second video frame rates, the OPPO Reno2 also has a way bigger sensor taking much higher quality videos and photographs, a lot more mega pixels camera and a larger aperture to take better low-light photography and videos.
OPPO Reno2 features a bit superior battery performance than Google Pixel 3a XL, because it has an 8 percent larger battery size.
