The Huawei Mate 40 Pro has a general score of 90.9, which is way better than the OPPO Reno2's 73.9 score. The Huawei Mate 40 Pro construction is newer and just a little thinner, but heavier than OPPO Reno2. Both phones in this review work with the same Android 10 OS (Operating System), so both of them should give you the same OS features.
Huawei Mate 40 Pro has a slightly better looking screen than OPPO Reno2, because it has a little bit higher pixels amount in each inch in the display, a higher resolution of 1334 x 2772 pixels and a little bit larger display. Huawei Mate 40 Pro counts with just a little better processing power than OPPO Reno2. They have the same number of cores and a 8 GB RAM.
The OPPO Reno2 has a way bigger memory to install games and applications than Huawei Mate 40 Pro, and although they both have equal 256 GB internal storage capacity, the OPPO Reno2 also has a slot for external memory cards that holds up to 512 GB. Huawei Mate 40 Pro features just a bit better battery lifetime than OPPO Reno2, because it has a 10 percent greater battery capacity.
Huawei Mate 40 Pro shoots clearer photographs and videos than OPPO Reno2, because although it has a smaller aperture which is not favorable for capturing photographs and videos in low-light situations, and they both have the same 3840x2160 (4K) video resolution, the Huawei Mate 40 Pro also counts with a camera with more mega pixels, faster video frame rate and a much bigger sensor capturing much better quality videos and photos.
