Comparison review
LG Velvet has a score of 87.1, which is better than the OPPO Reno2's overall score of 73.9. The LG Velvet construction is somewhat thinner and a little lighter than OPPO Reno2, although they were only released with a few months difference. The LG Velvet features a bit better hardware performance than OPPO Reno2, although it has 2 GB less RAM, they both have the same number of cores.
The OPPO Reno2 and the LG Velvet count with extremely similar screens, because although the LG Velvet has a little bit lower display density, it also counts with a bit higher resolution of 1080 x 2460px and a little bigger display. OPPO Reno2 counts with a slightly bigger memory for games and applications than LG Velvet, because although it has a SD card slot that holds a maximum of 512 GB against 1,95 TB, it also counts with 128 GB more internal memory.
The OPPO Reno2 counts with just a bit better camera than LG Velvet, and although they both have a back facing camera with a 48 mega pixels, a 0.5 inches back camera sensor, the same video frame rate and the same 3840x2160 (4K) video quality, the OPPO Reno2 also has a larger aperture to capture better photos and videos in poorly lited situations.
LG Velvet features just a little better battery performance than OPPO Reno2, because it has a 4300mAh battery capacity.
