Samsung Galaxy A30 is a little bit better than the OPPO Reno2, with a 79.6 score against 73.9. Samsung Galaxy A30's construction is somewhat thinner and lighter than the OPPO Reno2, even when both of them were only released 8 months apart. The OPPO Reno2 features just a bit better performance than Samsung Galaxy A30, and although they both have 8 CPU cores, the OPPO Reno2 also has more RAM.
The OPPO Reno2 counts with a slightly better looking display than Samsung Galaxy A30, because it has a just a little greater screen density, a bit larger display and a little higher resolution of 1080 x 2400. OPPO Reno2 has a lot bigger storage to store more apps and games than Samsung Galaxy A30, and although they both have an external SD slot that allows a maximum of 512 GB, the OPPO Reno2 also has 256 GB internal memory. The Galaxy A30's battery performance is very similar to the battery performance in OPPO Reno2.
