Comparison review
The Samsung Galaxy M40 has a general score of 85, which is much better than OPPO Reno2's 73.9 overall score. Both phones in our current comparison come with the same Android 10 operating system. Samsung Galaxy M40 is a somewhat thinner and somewhat lighter device than the OPPO Reno2, even when both of them were only released 4 months apart.
The OPPO Reno2 and the Galaxy M40 feature quite similar displays, because although the Galaxy M40 has a bit smaller display and a bit worse 1080 x 2340 resolution, it also counts with a bit better pixel quantity in each inch in the screen. The OPPO Reno2 features a much bigger storage to store more apps and games than Galaxy M40, and although they both have a slot for SD memory cards that allows up to 512 GB, the OPPO Reno2 also has more internal memory.
The OPPO Reno2 has a little bit better processing power than Galaxy M40, and although they both have 8 cores, the OPPO Reno2 also has 2 GB more RAM. The OPPO Reno2 has a little better battery performance than Galaxy M40, because it has a 4000mAh battery size. OPPO Reno2 has a bit better camera than Galaxy M40, and although they both have the same (4K) video definition, the same 30 frames per second video frame rate and a F1.7 aperture, the OPPO Reno2 also has a lot better resolution camera in the back and a way larger sensor taking more light and vivid colors.
