Comparison review

The Galaxy S7 edge has a global score of 78.1, which is slightly better than the OPPO Reno2's 73.9 overall score. Both devices in this comparison review work with Android operating system, but Galaxy S7 edge has the newer 8.0 Oreo version while OPPO Reno2 has Android 10, so it offers a couple nice extra features. Despite of the fact that Galaxy S7 edge is older than OPPO Reno2, it's construction is lighter and somewhat thinner.

The Galaxy S7 edge counts with a bit more vivid screen than OPPO Reno2, because although it has a little smaller screen, it also counts with a greater pixels amount in each screen inch and a higher 1440 x 2560 resolution. The OPPO Reno2 features a way bigger storage capacity to install games and applications than Galaxy S7 edge, because it has an external memory slot that admits up to 512 GB and 256 GB internal storage capacity.

The OPPO Reno2 features a little faster processor than Galaxy S7 edge, because it has a larger amount of RAM memory and a greater number of 2200 megahertz cores. OPPO Reno2 has a bit better battery performance than Galaxy S7 edge, because it has an 11% greater battery size. The OPPO Reno2 has a much better camera than Galaxy S7 edge, and although they both have the same 3840x2160 (4K) video quality, the same 30 frames per second video frame rate and a same size diafragm aperture, the OPPO Reno2 also has a larger sensor capturing higher quality videos and pictures and a back-facing camera with a lot higher resolution.
