Sony Xperia XA2 Plus has an overall score of 78.6, which is just a bit better than the OPPO Reno2's score of 73.9. Even being the best in this review, Sony Xperia XA2 Plus's design is older, just a little bit heavier and just a little thicker than OPPO Reno2. Both of these phones work with Android operating system, but the Sony Xperia XA2 Plus has the newer 8.0 Oreo version and OPPO Reno2 has Android 10.
Sony Xperia XA2 Plus has a bit sharper screen than OPPO Reno2, although it has a quite lower resolution of 1080 x 2160 pixels, a little smaller screen and a just a little lower pixel density. The OPPO Reno2 and the Xperia XA2 Plus both have incredibly similar CPUs, and although the Xperia XA2 Plus has less RAM memory, they both have 8 CPU cores.
The OPPO Reno2 counts with a much better storage capacity for apps and games than Sony Xperia XA2 Plus, because it has a slot for an SD memory card that allows up to 512 GB and 256 GB internal storage capacity. The OPPO Reno2 features just a little bit longer battery life than Xperia XA2 Plus, because it has a 12% larger battery size.
OPPO Reno2 has a better camera than Xperia XA2 Plus, and although they both have the same (4K) video quality and the same video frame rate, the OPPO Reno2 also has a larger diafragm aperture, a back-facing camera with much more mega-pixels and a bigger back-facing camera sensor.
