Comparison review
Xiaomi Mi 8 has a general score of 83.3, which is much better than OPPO Reno2's 73.9 global score. Both of these phones come with the same Android 10 OS (operating system), so they should provide the user very similar operating system features. Xiaomi Mi 8's construction is somewhat thinner and just a bit lighter than the OPPO Reno2, although it was released around 17 months before.
Xiaomi Mi 8 has a little bit better screen than OPPO Reno2, although it has a bit lower pixel quantity per inch in the display, a bit worse resolution of 1080 x 2248px and a bit smaller screen. OPPO Reno2 has a much better memory to install applications and games or saving photos and videos than Xiaomi Mi 8, and although they both have exactly the same 256 GB internal storage capacity, the OPPO Reno2 also has a SD extension slot that allows a maximum of 512 GB.
Xiaomi Mi 8 features a bit better CPU than OPPO Reno2, although it has 2 GB lesser RAM memory, they both have 8 cpu cores. OPPO Reno2 shoots better pictures and videos than Xiaomi Mi 8, and although they both have the same 30 frames per second video frame rate and the same video resolution, the OPPO Reno2 also has a bigger aperture to capture better photography and video in low light situations, a much more MP back camera and a much larger sensor capturing way better quality videos and photos.
The OPPO Reno2 has superior battery life than Xiaomi Mi 8, because it has a 4000mAh battery capacity.
