The Xiaomi Mi 8 Lite is a bit better than OPPO Reno2, with a overall score of 77.7 against 73.9. The Xiaomi Mi 8 Lite design is somewhat thinner and lighter than the OPPO Reno2. Both phones in our current comparison come with Android OS (Operating System), but the Xiaomi Mi 8 Lite has the newer 8.1 Oreo version while OPPO Reno2 has Android 10 version, so it gives you some nice extra features.
The Xiaomi Mi 8 Lite's CPU is just as good as the CPU in OPPO Reno2, and although the Xiaomi Mi 8 Lite has a smaller amount of RAM, they both have the same number of cores. Xiaomi Mi 8 Lite has a display that's very similar to the display in OPPO Reno2, although the Xiaomi Mi 8 Lite has a bit worse number of pixels per inch of display, a bit worse resolution of 1080 x 2280 and a little bit smaller display.
OPPO Reno2 counts with a way bigger memory capacity for apps and games than Xiaomi Mi 8 Lite, because it has a slot for SD memory cards that admits a maximum of 512 GB and more internal memory. OPPO Reno2 has improved battery performance than Xiaomi Mi 8 Lite, because it has 4000mAh of battery capacity against 3350mAh.
The OPPO Reno2 shoots better videos and photos than Xiaomi Mi 8 Lite, and although they both have the same 30 fps video frame rate and the same 3840x2160 video definition, the OPPO Reno2 also has a lot larger sensor taking much better quality videos and photographs, a lot better 48 mega pixels resolution back-facing camera and a larger aperture to take better images and video in low light situations.
