The Xperia 1 VI is better than OPPO Reno3 Pro, having a global score of 83.2 against 72. Both devices in this review include Android OS, but Xperia 1 VI has 14 version and OPPO Reno3 Pro has Android 10, so it gives a lot of extra features and enhanced performance. Xperia 1 VI's design is extremely lighter and notably thinner than OPPO Reno3 Pro.
OPPO Reno3 Pro has just a bit better looking screen than Xperia 1 VI, although it has a lot worse resolution of 1080 x 2400 pixels, a little smaller screen and a lot worse screen density. The OPPO Reno3 Pro features a much powerful processing unit than Xperia 1 VI, although it has 4 GB less RAM, they both have the same number of cores.
Sony Xperia 1 VI takes slightly better photos and videos than OPPO Reno3 Pro, because although it has a lot less megapixels back camera, a smaller diafragm aperture which is not favorable for low light photos and a worse (4K) video quality, it also counts with a larger back camera sensor. The Xperia 1 VI has a much greater memory for games and applications than OPPO Reno3 Pro, because it has 128 GB more internal memory capacity and a slot for an SD memory card that supports up to 1 TB.
Xperia 1 VI has longer battery lifetime than OPPO Reno3 Pro, because it has a 24 percent greater battery size.
