Comparison review
Galaxy A42 is much better than the OPPO Reno4 Pro, getting a general score of 87 against 72.1. Both phones we compare here have Android OS (operating system), but the Galaxy A42 has 11 version while OPPO Reno4 Pro has Android 10 version, giving lots of additional features and performance tweaks. Despite being the best in this comparison, we must note that it's also somewhat heavier and thicker.
The OPPO Reno4 Pro has a much more vibrant screen than Samsung Galaxy A42, because although it has a quite smaller screen, it also counts with a way better pixels density and a way higher 1080 x 2400 resolution. The Samsung Galaxy A42 has a much bigger storage capacity for games and applications than OPPO Reno4 Pro, and although they both have the same internal memory capacity, the Samsung Galaxy A42 also has a SD card slot that holds a maximum of 1000 GB.
OPPO Reno4 Pro has a bit better CPU than Samsung Galaxy A42, and although they both have the same number of cores, the OPPO Reno4 Pro also has a higher amount of RAM. Galaxy A42 counts with improved battery performance than OPPO Reno4 Pro, because it has a 25 percent more battery size. The OPPO Reno4 Pro captures slightly better videos and photos than Samsung Galaxy A42, and although they both have a same resolution back camera, the same 30 fps video frame rate and the same 3840x2160 video definition, the OPPO Reno4 Pro also has a bigger aperture to take better low-light photography and video.
