Comparison review
Xperia 1 is better than OPPO Reno4 Pro, getting a overall score of 82.6 against 72.1. Even being the best device in this comparison, the Xperia 1 is an older, just a bit thicker and just a little bit heavier device than the OPPO Reno4 Pro. The Sony Xperia 1 features a bit better screen than OPPO Reno4 Pro, because although it has much darker display, and they both have a screen of the same size, the Sony Xperia 1 also counts with a much better screen density and a lot better 1644 x 3840 resolution.
Sony Xperia 1 features a much greater memory for applications, games, photos and videos than OPPO Reno4 Pro, and although they both have exactly the same 128 GB internal storage, the Sony Xperia 1 also has a SD memory card expansion slot that allows up to 512 GB. The Sony Xperia 1 has a bit faster processing unit than OPPO Reno4 Pro, although it has a smaller amount of RAM, they both have 8 processing cores.
OPPO Reno4 Pro features improved battery lifetime than Xperia 1, because it has a 20% larger battery size. The OPPO Reno4 Pro shoots much clearer videos and photos than Xperia 1, because although it has a smaller aperture which is not so good for low-light captures and videos, and they both have the same 3840x2160 (4K) video resolution, the OPPO Reno4 Pro also counts with a much higher resolution back facing camera, a way bigger sensor shooting much better quality photos and videos and higher video frame rates.
