Comparison review
Sony Xperia 5 III has a score of 90.5, which is way better than OPPO Reno4 Pro's 72.1 general score. These phones work with Android OS, but Sony Xperia 5 III has a more recent 11 version while OPPO Reno4 Pro has Android 10, providing the user a couple nice extra features and increased performance. Even being the best phone in this comparison, we must highlight that it's also a a little heavier and just a bit thicker phone.
The OPPO Reno4 Pro counts with a bit better looking screen than Xperia 5 III, because although it has a quite lower 1080 x 2400px resolution and a just a little lower pixel count per inch of display, it also counts with a little larger display. The Sony Xperia 5 III has a bit better CPU than OPPO Reno4 Pro. Both of them have a Octa-Core processor and a 8 GB RAM memory.
The OPPO Reno4 Pro takes a bit better pictures and videos than Xperia 5 III, because although it has a smaller sensor which offers a worse photo and video quality and slower video frame rate, and they both have the same 3840x2160 video definition and a F1.7 aperture, the OPPO Reno4 Pro also counts with a lot better 48 mega pixels resolution back-facing camera.
The Sony Xperia 5 III has a way bigger memory capacity to install applications and games or saving photos and videos than OPPO Reno4 Pro, because it has a slot for SD memory cards that supports a maximum of 1 TB and more internal storage. Xperia 5 III has a bit better battery life than OPPO Reno4 Pro, because it has a 4500mAh battery capacity.
