Comparison review

The Xperia Z5 Premium is better than OPPO Reno4 Pro, getting a overall score of 79.8 against 72.1. Both phones in this review include Android OS, but Xperia Z5 Premium has 5.1 version and OPPO Reno4 Pro has Android 10 version. Despite being the best in this review, Xperia Z5 Premium's design is a lot older, somewhat heavier and a little thicker than the OPPO Reno4 Pro.

Xperia Z5 Premium's processing unit is very similar to the OPPO Reno4 Pro one, because although the Xperia Z5 Premium has a lower amount of RAM memory, and they both have 8 CPU cores, it also counts with an extra graphics processing unit. Sony Xperia Z5 Premium counts with a brighter screen than OPPO Reno4 Pro, because although it has a quite smaller display, it also counts with a much better 3840 x 2160 pixels resolution and a way higher count of pixels per inch of display.

OPPO Reno4 Pro shoots much better photos and videos than Xperia Z5 Premium, and although they both have the same (4K) video resolution and the same 30 fps video frame rate, the OPPO Reno4 Pro also has a bigger sensor providing a higher image quality, a larger camera aperture for better captures and videos in low-light situations and a much better 48 mega pixels resolution camera in the back.

OPPO Reno4 Pro has a bigger memory for applications, games, photos and videos than Sony Xperia Z5 Premium, because although it has no SD memory card expansion slot, it also counts with 96 GB more internal storage capacity. OPPO Reno4 Pro features a little better battery duration than Sony Xperia Z5 Premium, because it has a 17 percent bigger battery size.
