LG G8 ThinQ is much better than the OPPO Reno5 Pro, with an 84.3 score against 71.9. The LG G8 ThinQ is an older and a bit thicker cellphone than OPPO Reno5 Pro, but LG managed to build it just a bit lighter anyway. Both devices in this review include Android OS (operating system), but LG G8 ThinQ has a more recent 9.0 Pie version and OPPO Reno5 Pro has Android 11, so it provides the user a couple nice extra features.
LG G8 ThinQ counts with a little bit better processing power than OPPO Reno5 Pro, although it has a lower amount of RAM memory, they both have a Octa-Core processing unit. The LG G8 ThinQ has a bit better screen than OPPO Reno5 Pro, because although it has much worse brightness and a bit smaller display, it also counts with a higher 1440 x 3120 resolution and a better pixels density.
OPPO Reno5 Pro shoots much clearer photos and videos than LG G8 ThinQ, because although it has worse video frame rate and a smaller aperture, and they both have the same video quality, the OPPO Reno5 Pro also counts with a lot more megapixels back facing camera. The LG G8 ThinQ counts with a much greater memory capacity for apps and games than OPPO Reno5 Pro, and although they both have exactly the same internal storage, the LG G8 ThinQ also has a SD card slot that holds up to 1,95 TB.
The OPPO Reno5 Pro has greater battery performance than LG G8 ThinQ, because it has a 4350mAh battery capacity.
