LG G8S ThinQ has a general score of 82.5, which is much better than OPPO Reno5 Pro's 71.9 score. These phones work with Android OS, but LG G8S ThinQ has the newer 9.0 Pie version while OPPO Reno5 Pro has Android 11. Even though LG G8S ThinQ is better than OPPO Reno5 Pro, we must note that it is also older, a little heavier and just a bit thicker.
LG G8S ThinQ counts with a bit superior CPU than OPPO Reno5 Pro, although it has a smaller amount of RAM, they both have 8 processing cores. The OPPO Reno5 Pro has a little sharper screen than LG G8S ThinQ, because it has a bit larger display, a quite greater pixel density and a little bit higher 1080 x 2400 resolution.
OPPO Reno5 Pro takes much clearer videos and photos than LG G8S ThinQ, because although it has slower 30 fps video frame rate, and they both have the same (4K) video resolution, the OPPO Reno5 Pro also counts with a larger camera aperture and a back facing camera with a much better 64 mega pixels resolution.
The LG G8S ThinQ has a much better memory capacity for applications and games than OPPO Reno5 Pro, and although they both have exactly the same internal storage capacity, the LG G8S ThinQ also has a SD card slot that allows up to 1,95 TB. The OPPO Reno5 Pro has better battery lifetime than LG G8S ThinQ, because it has a 23% bigger battery capacity.
