Motorola Edge 40 Neo has a score of 77, which is a little bit better than OPPO Reno5 Pro's 71.9 overall score. Motorola Edge 40 Neo's body is way newer and a little bit lighter than OPPO Reno5 Pro's, although it's also just a bit thicker. Both phones in this comparison review work with Android OS, but Motorola Edge 40 Neo has 13 version while OPPO Reno5 Pro has Android 11 version, so it counts with a couple nice extra features.

The OPPO Reno5 Pro and the Motorola Edge 40 Neo count with incredibly similar displays, and although the Motorola Edge 40 Neo has a quite more brightness, they both have the same 1080 x 2400 pixels resolution, a same size screen and a greater pixel quantity per screen inch. The OPPO Reno5 Pro has a really superior hardware performance than Motorola Edge 40 Neo. Both have a 8 GB RAM and a Octa-Core processor.

Motorola Edge 40 Neo has a bit better camera than OPPO Reno5 Pro, although it has a tinier diafragm aperture which is not good for low-light captures and videos, a camera with a much lower resolution and a lower video resolution. The Motorola Edge 40 Neo's memory capacity for games and applications is just as good as the OPPO Reno5 Pro one, both have the same 128 GB internal memory.

Motorola Edge 40 Neo has just a bit better battery performance than OPPO Reno5 Pro, because it has 5000mAh of battery capacity.
