Galaxy A31 is much better than OPPO Reno5 Pro, having a global score of 81.3 against 71.9. Both devices in this review work with Android operating system, but the Galaxy A31 has 10 version and OPPO Reno5 Pro has Android 11. Even though Galaxy A31 is better than OPPO Reno5 Pro, we must note that it is also older, just a bit heavier and somewhat thicker.
The OPPO Reno5 Pro has just a little better hardware performance than Galaxy A31, and although they both have a Octa-Core processor, the OPPO Reno5 Pro also has 4 GB more RAM. OPPO Reno5 Pro features a sharper screen than Samsung Galaxy A31, because although it has a little lower display density, and they both have the same 1080 x 2400 resolution, the OPPO Reno5 Pro also counts with a little larger display.
The OPPO Reno5 Pro has a bit better camera than Samsung Galaxy A31, because it has a way more mega pixels back camera, a larger diafragm aperture to take better photos and video in low light environments and a lot higher 3840x2160 (4K) video definition. Galaxy A31 features a bigger storage capacity for apps and games than OPPO Reno5 Pro, because although it has less internal storage, it also counts with a slot for SD memory cards that holds a maximum of 512 GB.
The Galaxy A31 counts with just a little better battery duration than OPPO Reno5 Pro, because it has 5000mAh of battery capacity.
