Comparison review
Galaxy A42 is a lot better than the OPPO Reno5 Pro, having an 87 score against 71.9. Both phones we compare here have the same Android 11 OS (operating system). Despite being the best device in this comparison review, Galaxy A42's body is somewhat thicker and somewhat heavier than the OPPO Reno5 Pro.
OPPO Reno5 Pro counts with a much better display than Galaxy A42, because although it has a little bit smaller display, it also counts with a lot better number of pixels per inch in the screen and a lot higher 1080 x 2400 resolution. Galaxy A42 counts with a very superior storage capacity to store more games and applications than OPPO Reno5 Pro, and although they both have the same 128 GB internal storage capacity, the Galaxy A42 also has an external SD slot that allows up to 1000 GB.
OPPO Reno5 Pro features a bit faster processor than Galaxy A42, and although they both have 8 CPU cores, the OPPO Reno5 Pro also has 4 GB more RAM. OPPO Reno5 Pro captures clearer photos and videos than Galaxy A42, and although they both have the same 3840x2160 (4K) video resolution and the same video frame rates, the OPPO Reno5 Pro also has a larger aperture and a much more MP back facing camera.
Galaxy A42 features just a little bit longer battery duration than OPPO Reno5 Pro, because it has a 5000mAh battery capacity instead of 4350mAh.
