Comparison review
The Xperia 5 III has a general score of 90.5, which is much better than the OPPO Reno5 Pro's 71.9 overall score. Both phones in our current comparison include the same Android 11 OS, so you shouldn't notice any difference regarding that. Even though the Xperia 5 III and the OPPO Reno5 Pro were only released 3 months apart, the Xperia 5 III design is a little bit lighter but just a bit thicker than the OPPO Reno5 Pro.
The Xperia 5 III features a bit better CPU than OPPO Reno5 Pro. Both of them have 8 processing cores and the same RAM memory amount. The OPPO Reno5 Pro features a little more vivid screen than Xperia 5 III, because although it has a quite lower resolution of 1080 x 2400 and a little inferior quantity of pixels per inch of screen, it also counts with a bit bigger display.
The Xperia 5 III counts with a much greater storage to store more games and applications than OPPO Reno5 Pro, because it has a slot for external memory cards that allows up to 1 TB and more internal storage capacity. The OPPO Reno5 Pro counts with a slightly better camera than Xperia 5 III, because although it has slower 30 frames per second video frame rate, and they both have the same diafragm aperture and the same video resolution, the OPPO Reno5 Pro also counts with a way better resolution back-facing camera.
Sony Xperia 5 III features just a bit longer battery performance than OPPO Reno5 Pro, because it has a 3 percent larger battery size.
