The Motorola Edge 40 has a general score of 77.2, which is a little bit better than the OPPO Reno6 5G's score of 73.9. Motorola Edge 40's construction has the same thickness than OPPO Reno6 5G, but it's just a little lighter. Both phones in this review use Android operating system, but Motorola Edge 40 has the newer 13 version and OPPO Reno6 5G has Android 11, offering a lot of extra features and increased performance.

OPPO Reno6 5G has a much better processing power than Motorola Edge 40. Both have 8 cores and a 8 GB RAM. The Motorola Edge 40 has a little bit better display than OPPO Reno6 5G, because although it has a bit worse pixel density, and they both have exactly the same resolution of 1080 x 2400, the Motorola Edge 40 also counts with a little bit bigger display and a way brighter display.

The Motorola Edge 40 and OPPO Reno6 5G have really similar memory for games and applications, they have the same 128 GB internal storage. The Motorola Edge 40 counts with a bit superior battery life than OPPO Reno6 5G, because it has a 2 percent larger battery capacity. Motorola Edge 40 captures a little bit better photographs and videos than OPPO Reno6 5G, because although it has a much less mega pixels back facing camera and a worse (4K) video quality, it also counts with a bigger aperture for better low-light photography and video.
