Xiaomi Mi 8 Lite is a bit better than OPPO Reno6 5G, getting a 77.7 score against 73.9. Both devices in this review have Android OS, but the Xiaomi Mi 8 Lite has 8.1 Oreo version and OPPO Reno6 5G has Android 11 version, providing some extra features. The Xiaomi Mi 8 Lite construction has the same thickness than OPPO Reno6 5G, but it is a little bit lighter.
The OPPO Reno6 5G has a little sharper display than Xiaomi Mi 8 Lite, because it has a bit higher resolution of 1080 x 2400 pixels, a little bit larger screen and a quite higher pixel number in each inch in the display. Xiaomi Mi 8 Lite features as much storage for games and applications as the OPPO Reno6 5G, they have the same internal storage capacity.
The OPPO Reno6 5G features just a bit better performance than Xiaomi Mi 8 Lite, and although they both have 8 cpu cores, the OPPO Reno6 5G also has 2 GB more RAM. The OPPO Reno6 5G has a much better camera than Xiaomi Mi 8 Lite, and although they both have the same 3840x2160 (4K) video resolution and the same video frame rates, the OPPO Reno6 5G also has a camera in the back with a lot higher 64 mega-pixels resolution and a larger aperture to capture better images in low-light situations.
The OPPO Reno6 5G has improved battery duration than Xiaomi Mi 8 Lite, because it has a 28% greater battery capacity.
