Comparison review
Galaxy A42 is better than OPPO Reno6 Pro 5G, with an 87 score against 77. Although it's the best cellphone in this comparison, Galaxy A42 is a thicker and just a little heavier cellphone than OPPO Reno6 Pro 5G. Both phones in this review come with the same Android 11 OS. The OPPO Reno6 Pro 5G features a little faster processor than Galaxy A42, and although they both have a Octa-Core CPU, the OPPO Reno6 Pro 5G also has a greater amount of RAM memory.
The OPPO Reno6 Pro 5G has a much better looking screen than Galaxy A42, because although it has a bit smaller display, it also counts with a much higher 1080 x 2400 resolution and a much higher pixel density. The OPPO Reno6 Pro 5G captures slightly better pictures and videos than Galaxy A42, and although they both have the same 3840x2160 video quality and the same 30 frames per second video frame rate, the OPPO Reno6 Pro 5G also has a much higher 64 megapixels resolution camera and a bigger aperture.
Galaxy A42 has more storage for apps and games than OPPO Reno6 Pro 5G, because although it has less internal storage capacity, it also counts with a slot for an SD memory card that admits up to 1000 GB. The Samsung Galaxy A42 features a really longer battery life than OPPO Reno6 Pro 5G.
