Comparison review
BlackBerry Torch 9800 has a score of 46.3, which is a bit better than the Palm Pre 2's 42.4 general score. BlackBerry Torch 9800 comes with BlackBerry 6.0.x operating system, and Palm Pre 2 counts with webOS 2.1 operating system. The BlackBerry Torch 9800 body is heavier but somewhat thinner than the Palm Pre 2, and both were only released with a few months difference.
The Palm Pre 2 counts with a bit more vivid display than BlackBerry Torch 9800, although it has a little smaller display, a bit worse resolution of 480 x 320px and a little bit less pixels per inch of display. Palm Pre 2 has a bigger memory capacity for games and applications than BlackBerry Torch 9800, because although it has no slot for an SD memory card, it also counts with 12 GB more internal storage.
The Palm Pre 2 features a bit better processing unit than BlackBerry Torch 9800. Both of them have a Single-Core processor. The BlackBerry Torch 9800 features a much longer battery duration than Palm Pre 2. BlackBerry Torch 9800 shoots better pictures and videos than Palm Pre 2. They have a same resolution back-facing camera.
Despite of being the best phone of the ones in this comparison, BlackBerry Torch 9800 is also very cheap compared to the other ones, which makes this phone a no doubt choice.
