Comparison review
Google Pixel 5 has a general score of 89, which is a lot better than realme 8 5G's 72 score. The Google Pixel 5 body is a bit thinner and lighter than realme 8 5G, even when both were released only a couple months apart. Google Pixel 5 counts with a bit better performance than realme 8 5G, and although they both have 8 processing cores, the Google Pixel 5 also has a larger amount of RAM memory.
The realme 8 5G counts with a little sharper display than Google Pixel 5, because although it has a just a bit lower pixel density, it also counts with a quite bigger display and a slightly better 1080 x 2400 resolution. The realme 8 5G has a very superior memory capacity for games and applications than Google Pixel 5, and although they both have exactly the same internal memory capacity, the realme 8 5G also has a SD extension slot that admits a maximum of 1 TB.
Realme 8 5G shoots a little bit better pictures and videos than Google Pixel 5, because although it has worse 30 frames per second video frame rate and a smaller diafragm aperture which is worse for low light images and videos, and they both have the same (Full HD) video resolution, the realme 8 5G also counts with a way higher 48 megapixels resolution back camera.
Realme 8 5G features improved battery performance than Google Pixel 5, because it has a 5000mAh battery capacity instead of 4080mAh.
