Comparison review
The Huawei P40 Lite is much better than the realme 8 5G, with a 79.5 score against 72. The Huawei P40 Lite design is a little bit lighter than realme 8 5G, but it is just a little bit thicker and was released only 14 months before. Both phones in this review include Android OS (Operating System), but Huawei P40 Lite has the previous 10 version while realme 8 5G has Android 11 version.
Huawei P40 Lite has a bit better processor than realme 8 5G, and although they both have 8 CPU cores, the Huawei P40 Lite also has a larger amount of RAM. The realme 8 5G has a little sharper display than Huawei P40 Lite, because it has a bit larger display, a bit better screen density and a slightly higher resolution of 1080 x 2400px.
Huawei P40 Lite has a bit better camera than realme 8 5G. They have the same 1920x1080 video definition, the same camera aperture, the same 30 fps video frame rate and a 48 megapixels resolution camera in the back. Realme 8 5G has a much better memory capacity to install applications and games or saving photos and videos than Huawei P40 Lite, and although they both have the same 128 GB internal memory, the realme 8 5G also has an external memory slot that supports a maximum of 1 TB.
Realme 8 5G counts with greater battery duration than Huawei P40 Lite, because it has 5000mAh of battery capacity instead of 4200mAh.
