Comparison review
The Samsung Galaxy A31 has an overall score of 81.3, which is better than the realme 8 5G's general score of 72. The Samsung Galaxy A31 design weights the same than the realme 8 5G, but it is a little thicker. Both devices in this review include Android operating system, but Samsung Galaxy A31 has the older 10 version while realme 8 5G has Android 11 version.
Realme 8 5G has a little bit better hardware performance than Galaxy A31. Both of them have the same number of cores and a 4 GB RAM. Realme 8 5G counts with a bit better looking screen than Galaxy A31, because although it has a just a little worse screen pixels density, and they both have an equal resolution of 1080 x 2400 pixels, the realme 8 5G also counts with a little bit larger screen.
Realme 8 5G features a very superior storage to store more games and applications than Samsung Galaxy A31, because it has an external memory card slot that holds up to 1 TB and 64 GB more internal storage capacity. The Galaxy A31 and realme 8 5G both count with incredibly similar batteries duration.
The Samsung Galaxy A31 captures just a bit better photographs and videos than realme 8 5G, although it has a tinier aperture which is not favorable for taking images or video in low-light environments, they both have the same resolution back facing camera, the same video resolution and the same 30 frames per second video frame rates.
