Comparison review
The Galaxy A42 is way better than the realme 8 5G, with a global score of 87 against 72. These devices work with the same Android 11 OS. Although it's the best phone in this comparison review, Galaxy A42's design is a little thicker and just a little heavier than realme 8 5G. Realme 8 5G and Galaxy A42 both feature similar processing units, they have the same number of cores and the same RAM amount.
Realme 8 5G features a sharper screen than Galaxy A42, because although it has a little smaller screen, it also counts with a lot better resolution of 1080 x 2400 and a way better quantity of pixels per inch in the display. The realme 8 5G features a bit bigger storage for applications, games, photos and videos than Galaxy A42, and although they both have equal internal memory capacity, the realme 8 5G also has a slot for an external memory card that admits up to 1 TB.
The Galaxy A42 shoots a bit better pictures and videos than realme 8 5G, and although they both have a F1.8 camera aperture and the same resolution back facing camera, the Galaxy A42 also has a much better 3840x2160 video definition. Realme 8 5G and Galaxy A42 have incredibly similar batteries.
