Comparison review
Galaxy S10 is much better than the realme 8 5G, getting a general score of 88.3 against 72. Both phones in this review have the same Android 11 OS. The Galaxy S10 is an a lot older phone than the realme 8 5G, but it's a bit thinner and somewhat lighter anyway. The Galaxy S10 features a little bit better looking display than realme 8 5G, because although it has a little bit smaller display, it also counts with a better 1440 x 3040 resolution and a higher screen density.
The Galaxy S10 features a little better hardware performance than realme 8 5G, and although they both have the same number of cores, the Galaxy S10 also has more RAM memory. Realme 8 5G has a bit more storage capacity for applications and games than Galaxy S10, and although they both have exactly the same 128 GB internal storage, the realme 8 5G also has a slot for SD memory cards that supports a maximum of 1 TB.
The realme 8 5G features a much longer battery lifetime than Galaxy S10, because it has 5000mAh of battery capacity instead of 3400mAh. The realme 8 5G captures a little bit better pictures and videos than Galaxy S10, because although it has a smaller diafragm aperture which is worse for taking images or video in low-light situations and slower video frame rate, and they both have the same 1920x1080 (Full HD) video quality, the realme 8 5G also counts with a lot more MP camera.
