Comparison review
Galaxy S7 edge has an overall score of 78.1, which is a bit better than the realme 8 5G's 72 overall score. Both phones in this review come with Android OS (operating system), but the Galaxy S7 edge has a newer 8.0 Oreo version while realme 8 5G has Android 11 version, so it gives a couple additional features. The Galaxy S7 edge is an a lot older phone than realme 8 5G, but Samsung managed to build it somewhat lighter and just a little bit thinner anyway.
Galaxy S7 edge features a display that's just as good as the realme 8 5G one, because although the Galaxy S7 edge has a little smaller screen, it also counts with more pixels per inch in the display and a better 1440 x 2560 resolution. Realme 8 5G features a little faster CPU than Galaxy S7 edge, and although they both have a 4 GB RAM memory, the realme 8 5G also has a larger number of 2200 megahertz cores.
The realme 8 5G shoots slightly better photographs and videos than Galaxy S7 edge, because although it has a smaller aperture, and they both have the same 1920x1080 (Full HD) video quality and the same video frame rate, the realme 8 5G also counts with a camera with lot more MP. Realme 8 5G features a much bigger memory to store more apps and games than Samsung Galaxy S7 edge, because it has 128 GB internal storage and a SD card slot that allows a maximum of 1 TB.
Realme 8 5G has a superior battery performance than Galaxy S7 edge, because it has a 39% more battery capacity.
