Comparison review
The Galaxy XCover 5 is just a bit better than realme 8 5G, with a 78.1 score against 72. These phones come with the same Android 11 OS. Although the Galaxy XCover 5 and the realme 8 5G were released with only 2 months difference, the Galaxy XCover 5 construction is just a little thicker but also a little bit lighter than the realme 8 5G.
Realme 8 5G features a much better looking screen than Galaxy XCover 5, because it has a much better resolution of 1080 x 2400 pixels, a bigger display and a better screen density. Realme 8 5G has a bit more powerful CPU than Galaxy XCover 5. They have a 4 GB RAM memory and 8 processing cores. Realme 8 5G features a superior camera than Galaxy XCover 5, and although they both have a F1.8 camera aperture, the same video frame rate and the same 1920x1080 video quality, the realme 8 5G also has a way higher 48 MP resolution back camera.
Realme 8 5G has more storage capacity for games and applications than Samsung Galaxy XCover 5, and although they both have a SD memory slot that admits a maximum of 1 TB, the realme 8 5G also has 64 GB more internal storage capacity.
