Xperia 1 is better than the realme 8 5G, with a overall score of 82.6 against 72. Despite of the fact that the Xperia 1 is older than the realme 8 5G, it's design is just a bit thinner and just a little lighter. Xperia 1 counts with a sharper screen than realme 8 5G, because although it has much less brightness, and they both have a screen of the same size, the Xperia 1 also counts with a lot higher amount of pixels per display inch and a much higher 1644 x 3840 resolution.
The Sony Xperia 1 has a little faster processing unit than realme 8 5G, and although they both have 8 CPU cores, the Sony Xperia 1 also has a greater amount of RAM memory. Realme 8 5G has a slightly bigger storage capacity for apps and games than Xperia 1, and although they both have equal 128 GB internal storage, the realme 8 5G also has a slot for external memory cards that supports up to 1 TB.
Realme 8 5G counts with a really longer battery performance than Xperia 1, because it has a 50% larger battery capacity. The realme 8 5G takes slightly better videos and photos than Sony Xperia 1, because although it has a smaller camera aperture which is not recommended for taking images or videos in poorly lited environments, and they both have the same 1920x1080 video resolution, the realme 8 5G also counts with faster 30 fps video frame rates and a back camera with a much better resolution.
