Comparison review
Xiaomi Mi 9T has an overall score of 82.2, which is better than realme 8 5G's global score of 72. Although it's the best phone in this review, the Xiaomi Mi 9T construction is older, a little bit heavier and just a little bit thicker than the realme 8 5G. Both of these devices include Android OS (operating system), but Xiaomi Mi 9T has the previous 10 version while realme 8 5G has Android 11.
Xiaomi Mi 9T has a little better hardware performance than realme 8 5G, and although they both have the same number of cores, the Xiaomi Mi 9T also has more RAM memory. Realme 8 5G has a slightly better looking screen than Xiaomi Mi 9T, because it has a just a bit greater display density, more brightness, a quite bigger display and a slightly better resolution of 1080 x 2400px.
Realme 8 5G counts with a way bigger storage capacity for games and applications than Xiaomi Mi 9T, and although they both have equal internal memory, the realme 8 5G also has a slot for external memory cards that holds up to 1 TB. The Xiaomi Mi 9T features a much better camera than realme 8 5G, and although they both have the same resolution back-facing camera and a F1.8 camera aperture, the Xiaomi Mi 9T also has a lot better video resolution.
The realme 8 5G has improved battery life than Xiaomi Mi 9T, because it has 5000mAh of battery capacity.
