Comparison review
Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro is a little bit better than realme 8 5G, with a global score of 75.8 against 72. Both of these phones come with Android operating system, but Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro has newer 8.0 Oreo version and realme 8 5G has Android 11, so it provides some additional features and some performance improvements. The Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro is an a lot older phone than the realme 8 5G, but Xiaomi was able to make it just a little thinner and just a little bit lighter.
The realme 8 5G has a bit more vivid display than Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro, because it has a slightly higher resolution of 1080 x 2400px, a bit greater display density and a bit bigger display. The realme 8 5G counts with a much bigger memory for applications and games than Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro, because it has a slot for an external memory card that supports up to 1 TB and 128 GB internal memory.
The realme 8 5G has a bit more powerful processing unit than Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro, although it has lesser RAM memory, they both have a Octa-Core CPU.
