Comparison review
Samsung Galaxy A42 is better than the realme GT 5G, having an 87 score against 74.8. Despite being the best phone in this comparison review, the Samsung Galaxy A42 is a just a little bit heavier and a little bit thicker phone than realme GT 5G. Both of these phones have the same Android 11 OS (operating system).
Realme GT 5G has a bit more powerful processing unit than Galaxy A42, and although they both have a Octa-Core processor, the realme GT 5G also has a larger amount of RAM memory. The realme GT 5G counts with a much better looking screen than Galaxy A42, because although it has a little smaller display, it also counts with a way better resolution of 1080 x 2400 and a lot more pixels per inch of screen.
The realme GT 5G counts with a better camera than Samsung Galaxy A42, and although they both have the same video definition and a F1.8 camera aperture, the realme GT 5G also has a much better 64 mega-pixels resolution back-facing camera and better video frame rates. The Galaxy A42 features a very superior storage capacity for applications and games than realme GT 5G, and although they both have exactly the same 128 GB internal storage capacity, the Galaxy A42 also has a slot for an SD memory card that allows a maximum of 1000 GB.
The Galaxy A42 counts with just a bit better battery duration than realme GT 5G, because it has an 11 percent bigger battery capacity.
