Comparison review
Xperia 1 III has an overall score of 93.3, which is much better than realme GT 5G's global score of 74.8. Both phones in this review use the same Android 11 OS (operating system), so you shouldn't see any difference regarding operating system features. Although Xperia 1 III and realme GT 5G were released only 0 months apart, Xperia 1 III's construction is a little heavier but also a little bit thinner.
Sony Xperia 1 III counts with a more vivid display than realme GT 5G, because it has a lot better resolution of 1644 x 3840px, a little bit larger display and a lot greater pixel quantity per inch of screen. The Sony Xperia 1 III has a bit better processing power than realme GT 5G, and although they both have the same number of cores, the Sony Xperia 1 III also has more RAM.
The Xperia 1 III has a lot bigger memory capacity for applications, games, photos and videos than realme GT 5G, because it has a slot for an external memory card that admits a maximum of 1 TB and more internal memory capacity. Xperia 1 III has a battery duration that is just as good as the battery lifetime in realme GT 5G.
Realme GT 5G has a better camera than Sony Xperia 1 III, because although it has a tinier aperture which is not favorable for taking photographs and video in low-light situations and worse video frame rates, and they both have the same 3840x2160 video resolution and a 0.59 inches sensor, the realme GT 5G also counts with a much higher resolution back-facing camera.
