Comparison review
The Xperia XZ2 Compact has a score of 79, which is just a bit better than realme GT 5G's 74.8 overall score. Although Xperia XZ2 Compact is older and notably thicker than the realme GT 5G, it's design is still just a little lighter. These devices include Android OS (operating system), but Xperia XZ2 Compact has a more recent 8.0 Oreo version and realme GT 5G has Android 11 version.
Realme GT 5G features a bit faster processing unit than Sony Xperia XZ2 Compact, and although they both have a Octa-Core CPU, the realme GT 5G also has more RAM. Xperia XZ2 Compact counts with a much better screen than realme GT 5G, because although it has a bit worse resolution of 1080 x 2160 pixels and a lot smaller screen, it also counts with a just a little greater pixels quantity in each inch of screen.
Realme GT 5G takes much better videos and photos than Xperia XZ2 Compact, and although they both have the same (4K) video definition and the same video frame rates, the realme GT 5G also has a bigger camera aperture for better low light images and video, a way larger back-facing camera sensor which offers a much better image and video quality and a back-facing camera with lot more megapixels.
The Sony Xperia XZ2 Compact counts with a quite bigger memory capacity to install applications and games than realme GT 5G, because although it has only 64 GB internal memory capacity, it also counts with an external memory slot that holds a maximum of 400 GB. Realme GT 5G features a much better battery performance than Xperia XZ2 Compact, because it has a 57% greater battery size.
