The Galaxy M40 is much better than the realme X50 5G, getting an 85 score against 73. Despite of the fact that Galaxy M40 is older than realme X50 5G, it's construction is somewhat thinner and lighter. These phones have the same Android 10 OS, so they should offer very similar OS features. The realme X50 5G counts with a little better performance than Galaxy M40. Both of them have the same number of cores and the same RAM memory amount.

Galaxy M40 features a screen that is very similar to the realme X50 5G one, because although the Galaxy M40 has a little lower 1080 x 2340px resolution and a bit smaller display, it also counts with a just a bit more pixels per inch in the display. The Galaxy M40 features much more storage to store more games and applications than realme X50 5G, and although they both have equal 128 GB internal storage capacity, the Galaxy M40 also has an external memory slot that allows a maximum of 512 GB.
