The Huawei Mate 8 is a bit better than Samsung ATIV SE, having a global score of 77.4 against 71.9. Although the Huawei Mate 8 is noticeably heavier than the Samsung ATIV SE, it's a bit thinner and also newer. Samsung ATIV SE features a much better looking screen than Huawei Mate 8, because although it has a little smaller display, and they both have the same 1920 x 1080 resolution, the Samsung ATIV SE also counts with a little higher amount of pixels in each inch of screen.
Huawei Mate 8 and Samsung ATIV SE have similar processors, because although the Huawei Mate 8 has doesn't have an additional graphics processing unit, it also counts with a larger number of cores and 2 GB more RAM. Huawei Mate 8 counts with a way better camera than Samsung ATIV SE, and although they both have the same (Full HD) video quality and the same video frame rates, the Huawei Mate 8 also has a camera with more megapixels.
The Huawei Mate 8 features a way bigger storage capacity for games and applications than Samsung ATIV SE, because it has 112 GB more internal storage and a slot for SD memory cards that admits up to 128 GB. The Huawei Mate 8 counts with a way better battery lifetime than Samsung ATIV SE, because it has a 4000mAh battery size against 2600mAh.
