LG Velvet's design is much newer and just a little bit thinner, but also notably heavier than the Samsung ATIV SE. The LG Velvet has a little bit better performance than Samsung ATIV SE, because although it has doesn't have an additional GPU, it also counts with a higher amount of RAM memory and a higher number of cores (and also faster).
Samsung ATIV SE has a much better looking screen than LG Velvet, because although it has a quite lower resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels and a way smaller screen, it also counts with a just a bit higher screen density. LG Velvet features a superior memory capacity for applications and games than Samsung ATIV SE, because it has 128 GB internal storage and an external SD slot that admits up to 1,95 TB.
LG Velvet has a very superior battery performance than Samsung ATIV SE, because it has 4300mAh of battery capacity. The LG Velvet features a very superior camera than Samsung ATIV SE, because it has a camera in the back with lot more megapixels and a lot better 3840x2160 video definition.
The LG Velvet costs a little more than Samsung ATIV SE, but you can get a much better phone for that extra money.
