Comparison review
The Galaxy Note Fan Edition is better than Samsung ATIV SE, with a global score of 80.4 against 71.9. Galaxy Note Fan Edition's construction is way newer and just a little thinner than the Samsung ATIV SE's, although it's somewhat heavier. Galaxy Note Fan Edition's CPU is very similar to Samsung ATIV SE's processing unit, because although the Galaxy Note Fan Edition has doesn't have a graphics co-processor, it also counts with more RAM and more 2.3 GHz CPU cores.
The Samsung ATIV SE counts with just a bit better looking screen than Galaxy Note Fan Edition, although it has a way lower resolution of 1920 x 1080px, a little bit smaller screen and a quite worse pixels number in each inch in the screen. Galaxy Note Fan Edition counts with a much greater storage capacity to install games and applications than Samsung ATIV SE, because it has a SD card slot that admits a maximum of 256 GB and 64 GB internal storage capacity.
Galaxy Note Fan Edition captures much clearer pictures and videos than Samsung ATIV SE, because although it has a lesser mega pixels back camera, it also counts with a much higher 3840x2160 video definition. The Samsung Galaxy Note Fan Edition features superior battery life than Samsung ATIV SE, because it has a 3200mAh battery capacity against 2600mAh.
Although Galaxy Note Fan Edition is a better device, it is way more expensive than the Samsung ATIV SE, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as Samsung ATIV SE. If you prefer to save some money, you can get the Samsung ATIV SE, and give up a couple features, but you'll get the most with your money.
