Comparison review

The Samsung Captivate is just a bit better than Huawei Ascend P1, getting a 57.2 score against 56.9. Despite being the best phone in this review, Samsung Captivate is an older, somewhat heavier and a lot thicker phone than the Huawei Ascend P1. Both phones in our current comparison have Android OS (Operating System), but the Samsung Captivate has 2.3 version and Huawei Ascend P1 has Android 4.0.3.

The Huawei Ascend P1 has a bit better CPU than Samsung Captivate, because although it has doesn't have a graphics processing unit, it also counts with a greater amount of RAM memory and a higher number of cores. Samsung Captivate features a bit sharper display than Huawei Ascend P1, although it has a bit smaller display, a little worse pixel density and a quite lower resolution of 800 x 480px.

The Huawei Ascend P1 shoots just a bit better pictures and videos than Samsung Captivate, because it has a much better video quality and a camera with a way higher resolution. The Samsung Captivate counts with a very superior memory to store more games and applications than Huawei Ascend P1, and although they both have a slot for external memory cards that holds up to 32 GB, the Samsung Captivate also has 16 GB internal memory capacity.

Huawei Ascend P1 features a bit longer battery duration than Samsung Captivate, because it has a 1670mAh battery capacity.

The Samsung Captivate not only is the best phones between the ones we are comparing, but it's also the cheapest one.
